Declan Allen joined the club in the summer after 3 years at AFC Telford United, 2 as their Youth Team manager. He became the first AFC Telford Youth manager to win back to back Midland Junior Premier League titles and took the club to the FA Youth Cup 1st round, the furthest in their history.

Declan also managed AFC Telford United's first team on four occassions winning the Shropshire Huddersfield Cup and finished runners up in the Shropshire Senior Cup on two of those.
Prior to that Declan was a development coach at Shrewsbury Town FC for two years following three years as a development coach and academy scout for Aston Villa.
